Mystic Brew – Fig Dunkel Lager

 Centred around the natural richness of the Algarve, Mystic Brew reveals a deeper, more contemplative side of brewing through its distinctive character.
 

 This dark lager is built on a classic dunkel foundation, offering smoothness, depth, and balance. Layers of light caramel and gently roasted malts create a rounded body, while the addition of sun-dried figs introduces a distinctive sweetness and subtle earthy character.
 

 Full-flavoured yet composed, it is designed to be enjoyed slowly, revealing its complexity with each sip. A single-hop approach using Ekuanot, carefully distributed throughout the boil, provides structure and balance — delivering restrained bitterness and aroma while allowing the fig’s natural profile to remain at the forefront.
 

 Developed in collaboration with Quinta da Fornalha, this beer reflects a shared commitment to local ingredients and craftsmanship.
 

 Awarded a Gold Medal at the X National Craft Beer Contest (2022) and recognised as the Best Portuguese Craft Lager, Mystic Brew stands as a distinctive and refined interpretation of a traditional style.
