Fado Tropical – South American Pale Ale with Negra Mole Grapes & Pink Peppercorn

Fado Tropical is a meeting point between cultures — where Portuguese heritage and tropical expression come together in a vibrant, modern beer.

This South American–inspired Pale Ale explores a unique combination of ingredients, creating a bridge between the Algarve and Brazil. At its core is the Negra Mole grape, a traditional variety grown locally in the Algarve, bringing a soft, earthy sweetness and subtle fruit complexity.

Pink peppercorn, widely used across South America, adds a gentle spice and aromatic lift, enhancing the beer’s freshness and character. These elements are supported by a balanced malt base and Mosaic hops, which contribute bright, fruity notes and a crisp, refreshing finish.

Expressive yet harmonious, Fado Tropical delivers a layered sensory experience — where fruit, spice, and hops interact seamlessly, resulting in a beer that is both distinctive and highly drinkable.

Developed in collaboration with Vinha dos Flamingos, this beer reflects a shared commitment to local ingredients and creative exploration — a contemporary interpretation of cultural connection through flavour.
