 Lager Delight is a tribute to friendship — to the moments, partnerships, and shared experiences that give meaning to what we create and enjoy.

 Using the elegance of a Bohemian-style lager, this beer is smooth, balanced, and quietly distinctive. Built on a single malt base, it delivers a clean profile where gentle malt sweetness meets the refined bitterness of noble hops.

​

 A combination of Centennial and Saaz hops provides structure and aromatic finesse, while a carefully selected lager yeast ensures a crisp fermentation at low temperatures, preserving clarity and drinkability.

​

 Its defining character comes from the addition of carob — a Mediterranean ingredient that introduces subtle natural sweetness and a delicate, rounded aroma, without compromising the beer’s light colour and refreshing nature.

 Lager Delight was born from meaningful connections: a tribute to Peter Darby, whose passion for “a proper pint” helped inspire the foundation of Senescal; the creativity of Jossy, who first envisioned a beer with carob; and the support of Mercearia Meio-Limão, who supplied locally harvested organic carob.
